Konrad Nierwinski aka “Coach K”, CF-L1.
Entrepreneur, Father, Crossfit Coach and Athlete.
Helping people make changes in their health, fitness, and improve as athletes is my primary goal. As your coach I promise to help you develop your skills, push you to become the best version of yourself while providing you with a fun and inclusive environment.
I know it’s not easy to be vulnerable and crossing the door of a CrossFit gym for the first time, especially seeing all the “fit” people throwing insane weights around, can be a bit intimidating. I was that person in 2013, so I know that journey first hand.
I started my CrossFit journey at Crossfit Pocono in Pennsylvania in 2013 training under two ex-Penn State collegiate gymnasts. That experience gave me a deep understanding of gymnastic fundamentals, progressions and gymnastic coaching. After my first gym closed its doors, I joined Stroud CrossFit and trained under a 3-time CrossFit Games athlete. I have learned a lot about being a coach and a competitor from that experience. I competed in many individual and team competitions, including the Keystone Open and the Garden State Open.
After moving to the Palmetto State I found a new home at CrossFit Myrtle Beach. I am very proud to be a part of this community.
A bit about my personal life – I was born in Poland, I am a father of 4 beautiful kids, husband to my CrossFit beast-of-a-wife Ania Nierwinski. I am a Co-Founder of CreativeWorks, and I hold an MBA from Pace University.
